Hulk Hogan is squashing rumors of a potential WWE return while making bizarre comments about his daughter in the process.
The iconic wrestler appeared on the ‘Bischoff on Wrestling‘ podcast, flatly denying rumors he was intending on returning to the WWE. Bizarrely, in jest, Hogan joked his daughter Brooke needed to get kicked in the head.
“Brooke needs to get the big yellow boot to the head…. Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, like I said, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, “What are you doing?”
She goes, “Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.”
Hogan’s contract was terminated by the WWE in 2015 after racist comments were made public from his leaked sex tape. Hogan expressed disgust at the potential of his daughter dating a black man, using the N-word multiple times. Hogan apologized telling PEOPLE “this is not who I am.”
Fast forward to today, Hogan’s comments, joke or not, are unwelcome. For a man who privately used racial slurs, joking about kicking his daughter in the head is a poor look at best.
It’s probably best Hogan doesn’t return to the WWE. He’s a walking time-bomb who can’t keep his mouth shut. It would be a blessing if he faded from the public limelight and never returned to the ring.
