x-pac

WWE legend Sean Waltman, known to many as simply X-Pac, was caught with a load of meth at Los Angeles International Airport over the weekend and was suspected of intending to deal the drugs overseas.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Waltman was listed on a watch list for narcotics by the Customs and Border Patrol as a likely result of past transgressions involving drugs. Waltman also had an outstanding warrant for a DUI. As Waltman made his way through customs on his way to a flight departing for the United Kingdom, the security red flag in the system was triggered and a search of his bags commenced. That brought in the drug-sniffing dogs to do their thing.

Sure enough, those dogs found something they are trained to catch and authorities on the scene uncovered three marijuana-laced chocolate bars, two THC liquid cigarettes, and 38 methamphetamine capsules. In addition to all of that, Waltman was also in possession of $736.10 in cash.

Waltman was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and he now faces up to four years in prison. Deadspin notes Waltman was scheduled to appear in a six-man tag team match for International Pro Wrestling: UK. He obviously did not make that appearance, which is now explained by his recent reported absence among wrestling fans.

Waltman has admitted to a history of substance abuse, but insists this latest news is not to be taken as an indication he has relapsed.
