VIDEO: Shakhtar sees red and Bayern on their way to UCL Quarters in first FOUR minutes

Shakhtar Donetsk had a chance to upset Bayern Munich today but they may have in fact lost it before everyone on the field had a chance to break a sweat.

Oleksandr Kucher of Shakhtar tackled Mario Gotze from behind in the box to draw the PK in the third minute. It wasn’t a very serious tackle but it was from behind and Gotze was in on goal. The penalty was called and Thomas Muller scored to take the lead for Bayern Munich as they seek to advance to the Champions League Quarterfinals. Shakhtar can still take the lead if they draw but it’s going to be a tough ask now.
