Jackson Chourio Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio (11) hits a two-run home run off of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Martín Pérez (54) during the sixth inning of their game Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee Brewers are slugging their way to victory on Wednesday afternoon. Rookie star Jackson Chourio decided to partake in the fun and decided to do it big.

Chourio sent one way, way out of American Family Field. The Brewers rookie’s astonishing home run towered way over 400 feet. 441, to be exact.

“JACKSON CHOURIO JUST HIT A BALL 441 FEET,” the Brewers exclaimed on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

Chourio has shown no fear at the plate so far. He’s already belted five home runs this season through the early goings. Granted, he’s hitting like a rookie right now in some respects. He’s only hitting .220, posted an on-base percentage of .265, and has 38 strikeouts in 137 plate appearances.

He’ll need to improve, but moments like this show that he’s more than capable of having an elite bat. Hitting Major League pitching is, well, difficult. Chourio is learning that, but is still proving to play an exciting brand of baseball. He and the Brewers currently lead the National League Central Division.

The Brewers have romped the Pittsburgh Pirates in the getaway day game of their midweek slate. Milwaukee leads 10-1 following this blast and much more where that came from.

The MLB world had much to say about this home run.
