Elly De La Cruz amazed everyone on the basepaths again, and everyone loved it

Cincinnati Reds superstar Elly De La Cruz has made a habit out of being electric on the field. Whether it’s on defense, at the plate, or on the basepaths, De La Cruz is a threat to make something happen. On Sunday, he reminded everyone of what he’s capable of in a stirring fashion.

The Reds are in Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee Brewers in a weekend series. Cincinnati was at the plate with De La Cruz on second base. Brewers hurler Colin Rea attempted to make a pickoff move to try and nab him at second base.

But Rea’s attempt backfired in an unbelievable way. Not only did Rea not get him out, De La Cruz found a way to score from second base after the pickoff attempt.

The ball got by the Brewers’ infield and rolled into the outfield. Elly raced around third base and sprinted to home plate. The Brewers were able to make a play at the plate, to their credit. However, Elly was just too fast for them.

The Reds’ announcers were not the only ones to go crazy after that play. MLB fans and personalities went crazy as Elly De La Cruz amazed yet again.
