The Florida Gators trounced the Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday in Men’s College World Series action. One Gators slugger took life by the horns and swung for the fences. Quite literally, as Brody Donay smoked the hardest-hit ball in the CWS thus far.

Donay’s home run caught everyone’s eye. It left the Gators star’s bat at a whopping 117 miles per hour!

It was Donay’s second home run of the day, but certainly his most prolific.

Home runs like these are usually reserved for the big MLB sluggers. Giancarlo Stanton, Shohei Ohtani, and Aaron Judge will every now and then flaunt their power in magnificent ways like this. So Donay’s absolute moonshot home run was certainly impressive. It might wind up being the most impressive swing and hit of the entire NCAA Baseball Tournament when all is said and done.

Unsurprisingly, as word traveled about the home run, everyone around the sports world was left in awe.
