Jackson Chourio hit an epic home run on Wednesday. The Milwaukee Brewers’ rookie demolished a 441-foot home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates at American Family Field.

Chourio’s home run was his first in nearly a month, a positive sign for the rookie star. The Brewers’ former top prospect has dealt with highs – five home runs already to his name – and lows, 38 strikeouts already to his name too.

But Chourio made a bit of history on Wednesday with his moonshot home run.

Chourio’s fast start has been a historic fast start. After he clubbed his fifth career home run, the Brewers rookie shot up the charts to join an elite group of names that collected five home runs and five stolen bases this quickly into their Major League Baseball careers.

Sarah Langs emerged with the incredible statistic. In their first career 39 games at age 20 or younger, Chourio joins Fernando Tatis Jr., Carlos Correa, and Ken Griffey Jr. as players who accomplished this feat this quickly.

Baseball is a fun game where history can be made at any point. Now, after a mammoth home run, Jackson Chourio is amongst an immensely talented group of players who showed why they were great at such a young age.
