Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels has caught significant NFL Draft buzz over the past few weeks. So it’s no surprise that he garnered much attention once he got to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Several teams have already met with the dynamic Daniels, who has muscled his way into the Top 10 pick conversation. In fact, he might even land somewhere in the Top 5 if a quarterback-needy team decides to press the button. After a prodigious season in which he won the Heisman over Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix, Daniels appears poised to take the next step.

That next step involves a team opting to take him. Who will it be? We don’t know that yet, but we do know that several teams met with the former LSU star quarterback.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Daniels has met with numerous teams at the Combine this week. Rapoport listed the Chicago Bears, the New England Patriots, the New York Giants, and the Washington Commanders among those teams. That’s an interesting note, as those four teams are among the most quarterback-needy in the entire draft. The Las Vegas Raiders were also mentioned.

“LSU Heisman Trophy-winning QB Jayden Daniels spent yesterday and today at the Combine meeting with teams such as the Bears, Commanders, Vikings, Jets, Giants, Patriots, Raiders, Seahawks, and Saints,” Rapoport posted.

Rapoport broke the big news on X, the popular website formerly known as Twitter.

There’s no telling yet how this will conclude. But Daniels’ exciting play style and dynamic ability could make one NFL team very happy.
