Like their neighbors down the Freeway, the Los Angeles Kings unveiled new uniforms on Wednesday.
The uniforms went retro as the Kings will once again look how they did back in the Wayne Gretzky era.
The uniform reveal happened on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

The Kings had worn a black/purple/white look for a lot of the 2000s until they switched to a black/white look in 2012 full-time. So gone now is the former Kings crest, and it’s been replaced by their classic and iconic logo from the days when The Great One was in LA.
While it’s not a return to the famed purple and gold look that the Los Angeles Lakers roll with, these are still very nice threads. LA fans were delighted by the new uniforms and voiced their interest in them online.
