The NFL world is talking about a massive announcement that the Green Bay Packers made on Sunday. The Packers announced that star running back Aaron Jones is back in the lineup. Stung by a hamstring injury, Jones hasn’t seen the field since Week 2. But that drought will end in the Mile High as he’ll join the Packers vs. the Denver Broncos.
“RB Aaron Jones is ACTIVE for Week 7,” the team announced. The Packers’ announcement on Jones’ status came on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.

Jones last played against the rival Chicago Bears. He scored two touchdowns, had just nine carries for 41 yards, and two receptions for 86 yards. His nagging hamstring injury since sidelined the star running back, and he’s missed every game since. But fortunately for the Packers, that drought will end on Sunday.
Jones will be nothing if not an asset for Jordan Love and Green Bay against a lowly Broncos team. Denver’s struggles have been in the spotlight all season. Even after acquiring Russell Wilson last year and even after hiring Sean Payton this year, nothing seems to be going right. And now, with the news that the Packers will have one of their biggest weapons available to them, that trend might well continue.
The NFL world had plenty to say about the Packers’ announcement.
