There’s a lot of commotion going on about Kevin Durant. Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia stepped in to extinguish the fire.
Ahead of Wednesday night’s NBA Draft, the Suns owner aimed to stop rumors around the league. Kevin Durant might not be long for Phoenix, and a potential move to the Houston Rockets could be on the way.
According to Ishbia, that’s not the case at all.
NBA Draft night is the best. Everyone talking about the drama and storylines, some are right and some are just wrong.

“NBA Draft night is the best. Everyone talking about the drama and storylines, some are right and some are just wrong. My turn. Phoenix loves Kevin Durant and Kevin Durant loves Phoenix,” Ishbia said.
Stephen A. Smith had reported earlier on Wednesday that the Suns and Durant don’t appear to be for long. Smith said, “I am reporting here: Pay no attention to what Phoenix is saying. They want out of Kevin Durant right now,” during Wednesday’s episode of First Take on ESPN.
Granted, Smith’s claim to not pay attention to what Phoenix says conflicts with Ishbia’s statement. He’s stood his ground, but right now, so is the Suns owner.
