Texas Rangers hat Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Texas Rangers prospect Wyatt Langford ranks as one of the best prospects in baseball. On Saturday, Langford showed why so many have raved over his tremendous ability.

Langford, who’s already shown his power off this Spring Training, muscled even more home runs on Saturday in a dazzling performance. He clubbed two more home runs in action with the Rangers to net a lot of attention.

“Wyatt Langford has figured out the Cactus League,” reporter Shawn McFarland declared.

The MLB world was buzzing all afternoon about Langford’s performance.

“Get used to seeing this from Wyatt Langford!” the MLB account boasted. “Two homers today for MLB Pipeline’s No. 6 prospect.”

Some Rangers fans were extremely quick to turn to excitement.

Others felt what they were seeing was absurd.

Reactions continued to pour out all afternoon.

The Rangers have given their fans plenty to be excited about over the past few years. Some great prospects combined with a World Series championship in 2023 have led to a morale spike in the fanbase. They’ve spent to win, drafted to win, and have run a well-organized ship. So, more power to them as they progress up the ladder.

The Rangers figure to contend again this season with competition in the American League West from the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners. If they have Langford around, the former Florida Gator could be a huge X factor.
