Deebo Samuel doubled down on Tuesday when it came to what he said about James Bradberry.

“I said what I said and they dragged it on or whatever, but whatever the case may be,” Samuel said on Up & Adams. “Kind of like I said yesterday, you know — at the end of the day, like — I said it, yeah I said it, but I don’t regret it.”

Adams had asked Samuel if there was a specific moment on the field that prompted his original comment of saying the cornerback was trash after the 49ers’ loss to the Eagles last season in the NFC Championship Game, and that didn’t appear to be the case.

On the I Am Athlete podcast, Samuel was asked about the holes that were in the Eagles defense. In February, when Brandon Marshall, LeSean McCoy and Adam “Pacman” Jones interviewed the 49ers wide receiver said Eagles DB Bradberry was “trash” when they were listing through Philly’s defense.

The two teams will face each other once again on Sunday, but Samuel said it won’t be any different from a typical matchup. But it’s still a top one he’s looking forward to.

“My second favorite,” Samuel said. “It’s kind of like — you know — going back to last year, you know they got the best of us, so it’s kind of like a rematch for us, but it’s just like another game on the schedule,” Samuel said. “For us to get to where we want to be — we know everybody is going to be rowdy for this game and you know, we just got to stay level-headed and play Niner football.”

Adams said we all know it’ll be a little something extra, but Samuel disagreed.

“I wouldn’t say so,” he added.

Not even a little?

“Nah,” he said.
