New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge has been slow to start this season. But on Sunday, the former American League Most Valuable Player got the crowd going with a towering home run.

Judge swung and belted one off Tigers ace Tarik Skubal on Sunday afternoon in The Bronx. Yankee fans raved and went crazy as Judge blasted a pitch the opposite way into the right-field stands.

“All Rise! Aaron Judge goes yard in The Bronx,” the Major League Baseball account tweeted.

Judge’s home run went 399 feet, according to MLB HR. That’s quite an impressive shot for an opposite-field home run. Judge put his strength on display with that home run.

Yankee fans hope it’s a home run that gets his bat going. After this epic blast, the 2022 AL MVP only has seven home runs. Granted, that’s not a terrible pace to be on. But for someone with a Judge’s power, it’s behind schedule. It’s left some Yankee fans wondering what’s wrong, but with more hits like this, the less concerns will exist.

New York has otherwise had trouble figuring Skubal out. Besides allowing this home run to Judge, the Tigers ace has been in control. The teams are currently tied at 2 runs apiece in the seventh inning. So as of right now, it’s anyone’s game.

The MLB world had much to say about Aaron Judge and his titanic home run.
