Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz played his final home opener in Fenway Park today, and the Red Sox pulled out all of the stops in making it a very special, and memorable afternoon for Big Papi.

The Red Sox welcomed Alex Ortiz, daughter of the Red Sox slugger, to sing the national anthem. The performance alone was impressive enough — although I must admit I was not a huge fan of her personal styling at the end of the song — but it was clearly an emotional moment for the fan favorite in Boston.

We have to think Ortiz was one proud Big Papi.
