Remember Paul O’Neill? The five-time All-Star spent eight seasons with the Cincinnati Reds before joining the New York Yankees where all he did was win five World Series in nine years. He’ll probably never have to buy a beer in New york City ever again (well, maybe Queens) and his super-serious, workmanlike approach made him a fan favorite. Some even considered him the “heart and soul” of those championship squads.

So what’s O’Neill up to these days? Endorsing Donald Trump, that’s what.

O’Neill showed up at Trump’s Tuesday night press conference in Florids to celebrate the candidate’s latest round of caucus victories. In the middle of his speech, Trump stopped to point out that the Yankee legend was in the house and then invited him to stand up.

When Trump asked O’Neill flat out if he endorses him, O’Neill responded in the affirmative and The Donald responded simply with “I love you!”

The two eventually had their own tête-à-tête later on.

Now the nation needs to know…where do Scott Brosius, Bernie Williams, and Derek Jeter stand and who do they support?
