Jake Arrieta won the 2015 National League Cy Young award, and the Chicago Cubs’ ace doesn’t appear to be slowing down in 2016. For the second time since last August, Arrieta has thrown a no-hitter.

This one came against Cincinnati Reds on Thursday night at Great American Ballpark in a 16-0 Cubs win, while the previous Arrieta no-no was against the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 30, 2015 at Dodger Stadium.

The crazy thing is this wasn’t Arrieta at his best. His command wasn’t nearly as sharp as it usually is, and he walked four Reds batters. But, his stuff is so good, that his “B” stuff is still lights out.
