Steph Curry has made the NBA worth watching for millions over the past few years, and there is arguably no player as unanimously loved as he is in today’s NBA. He also happens to be a vital part of the Golden State Warriors’ attempt to repeat as NBA champions.

However, the hearts of every member of the team and its fans must have been in their throats after seeing Steph Curry go down with a completely freak right knee injury in the second quarter of Game 4 in their best-of-seven series.

Prior to that slip, Curry had been complaining of a slick floor in that exact same spot. It was also the exact location where a Rockets player fell, adding more moisture to the court just before Curry slips.

After not being able to properly go in halftime warmups, Curry headed back to the locker room with a very angry look on his face.

Official word from in-game reporter Lisa Salters indicated that the Warriors are calling it a sprained knee and that Curry would not return to the game.

It’s been a tough series overall for Curry, who missed Game 3 with to an ankle injury only to have this happen in Game 4.
