In a scary moment during a first-round NCAA Tournament game in Raleigh, Virginia coach Tony Bennett collapsed to the ground with an apparent knee injury.

Bennett could be seen on TV sitting on the bench in apparent pain. He headed to the locker room before the end of the half (top-seeded Virginia leads No. 16 Hampton 40-21 at the break).

It’s hard to tell whether Bennett just got dizzy or light-headed or whether he has a serious injury to his lower body. We’ll update you when we know more about the coach’s condition.

Update: Bennett is back for the 2nd half and said this about the incident.

We’re relieved to see him back on the bench.
