Andy Dalton is out for the rest of the game for Cincinnati Bengals because of a first quarter thumb injury.

While the severity of the injury is unknown, Dalton is on the sidelines in his street clothes, sporting a cast on his forearm.

Dalton was replaced as Bengals QB by AJ McCarron, who threw a gorgeous 66-yard touchdown to AJ Green for the first TD pass of his NFL career.

While losing Dalton is obviously a huge blow for the Bengals, if McCarron can keep playing like this, maybe Cincinnati won’t be in such dire shape going forward.
