Johnny Manziel is either enjoying his last moments of freedom, or undeterred by his agent Drew Rosenhaus’ ultimatum. The former Browns quarterback was spotted partying at Coachella over the weekend, following Rosenhaus’ public declaration of a five-day deadline for Manziel to seek help or lose his representation.

Rosenhaus terminated his representation agreement with Manziel back on April 13, but said there was a five-day window for him to rescind his decision. However, this is contingent upon Manziel entering himself into a treatment facility.

If his actions since Rosenhaus’ proclamation are any indication, Manziel has no intention of holding up his end on the path to reconciliation. Prior to his appearance at Coachella, The quarterback was accused of damaging a Los Angeles rental home to the tune of $32,000.

What is perhaps even more troubling is the news that Manziel appears to have found like-minded former NFLer to self-destruct with. Wide receiver Josh Gordon, who last played for the Cleveland Browns in 2014 and was suspended for the 2015 season, was present with Manziel at the trashed rental home and was also spotted with his former teammate at Coachella.

Rosenhaus’ window closes Monday, and unless Manziel was merely living his last days of partying to the fullest, it looks like the troubled star will be seeking another agent in short order.

Both Manziel and Gordon appear to be in need of help, and it seems unlikely either one is the solution to the other’s problems. One can only hope their tragic falls have a happy end, and soon.
