Troubled Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is once again int he headlines for all the wrong reasons. According to a report from FOX Sports reporter Mike Garafolo, Gordon has failed a drug test administered by the NFL as recently as last month. This is especially troubling to hear because Gordon is still suspended for a failed drug test that cost him the entire 2015 season.

Per the report from Garafolo, Gordon tested positive for marijuana and dilute. At this time, however, it is unknown if this will lead to any further suspension time for Gordon. That is because Gordon has had to apply for reinstatement to the NFL, which he has, but it is up to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to determine whether or not to make any decision, for better or worse for Gordon within the 60 days Gordon was required to apply. With a new failed drug test, Goodell can hold off on responding to that application for reinstatement.

Did we mention yet Gordon is living with Johnny Manziel?

Two young football players clearly in need of cleaning up their image as far as the NFL is concerned living together seems like an awful idea or a brilliant idea, but mostly a terrible idea. Both players have had their problems with either drugs or alcohol, so putting the two together in the same home in Los Angeles just feels like an incredibly risky move, unless the stars align and they happen to be just the perfect pair of people to come together to ultimately help each other through battling whatever personal demons they have within. But given the track record of each, we can be justified in suggesting that is probably not likely to happen and these two should not be sharing an apartment together if either wants to successfully turn things around.

Whatever the case, Gordon seems to be brushing aside the latest headlines with a roll of the eyes.

The Browns have already cut ties with Manziel but still retain Gordon. It may just be a matter of time before Gordon starts looking for a new NFL home as well, but at least he can crash with Manziel in the meantime in Los Angeles.
