We see these stories every year – the NFL quarterback buying his offensive line some sort of gift for protecting him throughout a rigorous season.

Last season, it was Aaron Rodgers, who bought his entire offensive line 55-inch televisions.

This year, Tyrod Taylor one-upped Aaron Rodgers by buying his offensive line even bigger televisions, ones where the Samsung TV blinking red light isn’t going to annoy everyone inside of a year of owning it.

Taylor has been sacked 31 times this season, good for 11th most in the NFL. But his strong offensive line has helped him throw for 20 touchdown passes and just five interceptions in his first season in Buffalo.

It’s smart of Taylor to treat his line well so they continue to do what they can to keep him upright and happy. Not to mention that it’s just a nice gesture, especially when you consider that offensive linemen typically get no type of credit when it comes to the success of a football team.

The 6-8 Bills will finish off the season with games against the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Jets.

And in case you’re curious, those TVs appear to retail for about $1,900. Hey, it beats another package of socks.
