After being fired from the University of Texas, it appears that disgraced basketball coach Chris Beard is looking to leave the Austin area.

Beard was fired earlier this month after he was arrested and charged with a third-degree felony and subsequently suspended. He was charged with an assault on his fiancée.

Beard’s mansion in Austin, which was built in 2012, was listed on Zillow for an asking price of $4.95 million on Friday morning.

In the early hours on December 12, Austin police responded to a call and arrested Beard. He was booked for a third-degree felony charge that morning. That day, more details would emerge about the incident. They were both disturbing and shocking in nature.

Rodney Terry was named the acting head coach, though Texas wasted no time and later suspended Beard. Terry was named the interim head coach for the rest of the season and has compiled a 10-2 record since taking over for Beard.

While Beard’s fiancée would apologize later for the allegations, Texas reviewed the statement and elected to part ways with Beard anyways.
