Smith dropped a ridiculous 32 points in the game against the Creighton Bluejays. But his contributions weren’t enough for him and his 11th-seeded NC State Wolfpack to advance in the NCAA Tournament. Their season ended in Denver after they went 23-11. It was a massive improvement over last year’s dismal 11-21 campaign. Terquavion Smith was a major reason why.
Creighton won the game 72-63 and will play the Baylor Bears in the Round of 32. Ryan Kalkbrenner starred, as he is to do, and helped lead his Bluejays to victory. They’ll have their hands full.
