The Creighton Blue Jays faced off against the Baylor Bears in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament, and their explosive offense caused all sorts of troubles for an experienced Baylor team.

Creighton made 11 three-point shots and shot 47 percent from the field. However, their unbelievable foul shooting was undoubtedly the most impressive part of their performance.

They shot 22-of-22 from the free-throw line, which ties the NCAA Tournament record for the best free-throw percentage in a tournament game. This was a record that dates back to 1971 when Fordham went perfect from the line against South Carolina.

This impressive offensive performance helped propel the Blue Jays to an 85-76 victory over Baylor. It marks potentially the most impressive win in recent memory for the program, with this being their first tournament win against a top-three-seeded team.

Many around the college basketball world took to social media to reveal how impressed they were by Creighton’s win on Sunday night.

While they were only a six-seed entering the tournament, they now look to be one of the most dangerous teams remaining in the Big Dance.

They will face off against 15-seeded Princeton who has played excellently thus far, shocking Arizona in the first round and then dominating Missouri.

Creighton will almost certainly be heavy favorites to win against Princeton and reach the Elite Eight against either San Diego State or Alabama. However, if the NCAA Tournament has taught us anything thus far, it is that anyone can win on any given day.
