An old-school Big East rivalry game between the Georgetown Hoyas and the Villanova Wildcats featured one of the craziest dunks that we have seen thus far this season.
There has not been all that much for Georgetown fans to cheer about this season, sitting at just 5-10 on the year. Sophomore guard Brandon Murray gave them just that early in the first half of on Wednesday with an unreal poster dunk over Villanova’s Jordan Longino.

Longino tried to step in to draw the charge, but instead, he ended up on the losing end of a poster that any star player would be proud to have on their highlight reel.
Many around the college basketball world are saying the exact same thing about this insane dunk from Murray, that this is potentially the dunk of the year at this point of the college basketball season.
“Brandon Murray with possibly the dunk of the year,” tweeted CBS Sports CBB.

This play is certainly a bright spot for what has otherwise been another disappointing season for Georgetown, which has not had a winning year since the 2018-19 college basketball season.
