The Michigan Wolverines will travel to Bloomington, Indiana on March 5 to take on the Indiana Hoosiers. When they do, it’s hard to imagine Michigan star Hunter Dickinson will get a positive welcome to the Hoosier State.
During an appearance on the RoundBall Podcast this week, Dickinson had a lot to say about the Hoosiers and their campus. Specifically, while he has met “a lot of normal people in Ann Arbor,” he found “a lot of weirdos in Bloomington.”
“It’s not the best clientele. I have to say that. There’s a lot of normal people in Ann Arbor. There’s a lot of weirdos in Bloomington,” Dickinson said.
A lot of weirdos in Indiana Hunter says. Indiana Hoosier fans aren’t going to like this

Not only is Dickenson on video saying this, but he said it while Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis was on the podcast with him. Jackson-Davis didn’t take the bait but he will certainly keep that information handy when the two teams play in February in Ann Arbor and then in Bloomington in March.

It’s a new day for Indiana basketball, too. The once powerhouse program had a lot of ups and downs in recent decades but is currently No. 12 in the nation, ranked ahead of No. 20 Michigan and every other Big Ten program.
The upcoming showdowns between these two teams didn’t need any added ammo but it’s certainly got it now.
