For the first time in school history, Florida Atlantic University is making its first Final Four. And it appears to have gotten the attention of Lane Kiffin.

Former head football coach Lane Kiffin showed his support for his former school by making a post on social media with the caption “LFG!!!” After the Owls upset No. 3 seed Kansas State.

Kiffin was the head coach of the Owls from 2017-2019 before becoming the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Before Kiffin became the head coach, he was the offensive coordinator at Alabama then FAU came calling and he left the Tide for the Owls.

Kiffin always seemed to have support for all his former schools, especially Bama.  Kiffin admitted that when his Rebels defeated Texas A&M, it was payback for what Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher had said about his former head coach Nick Saban.

“It’s real. I don’t do coachspeak,” Kiffin said back then. “Most coaches would say no. But when someone attacks you personally and calls you and your buddy Coach [Nick] Saban both clowns, you take that personal.”

“I’m glad we won,” Kiffin added with a smile.

So, no one should be shocked that Lane Kiffin is going out of his way to be supportive of his former who gave him his first shot at being a head coach again after leaving Alabama.
