Angel Reese Louisiana State University forward Angel Reese (10) or the “Bayou Barbie” puts on her crown while being introduced before the NCAA Women’s Greenville Regional Elite Eight Basketball Tournament against Miami at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. Sunday, March 26, 2023. Elite Eight Round Of The Ncaa Women S Tournament

While the LSU Tigers prepare themselves for the Final Four, Tigers star Angel Reese’s mom is having to deal with what a lot of moms have to deal with: people hitting on her daughter.

Reese’s mom had to get on social media and ask people to stop sending her daughter direct messages to ask her out.

The elder Reese, who is also Angel Reese, went to her Twitter page to put out the request. Apparently, people are getting her and her daughter mixed up.

“FYI…I am Angel Reese the mom not the LSUwbb player please be mindful when you tag and/or send me DM’s that your intent is to me not my daughter. I’m getting some crazy dating request from men my kids age who clearly by the content of msg think they’re sending it to Lil A”
Reese’s nickname is Bayou Barbie, and if you have seen Reese play, you can understand why a lot of men would be interested in her besides her good looks. She is averaging about 24 points a game, 16 rebounds, and two assists per game.
Reese is making a killing in NIL money and has a trademark Bayou Barbie. Reese became a basketball player because of her mama.
“I used to go to my mom’s games when I was younger. She used to play in a little league, and I used to always go watch her games on Sundays. That was something that was always inspiring to me,” Reese said. “She’s always been independent and she molded that into me. I am who I am because of her.”
And all that hard work is paying off.
