The end of the first half in the NCAA Tournament battle between Kansas State and Kentucky had the CBB world buzzing.

Kansas State hit a no-look alley-oop to send the crowd into a frenzy as the first 20 minutes elapsed.

Wildcats guard Markquis Nowell lobbed it up for Nae’Qwan Tomlin without even so much as a glance and Tomlin absolutely slammed it home with an epic finish.

Per usual, the great Ian Eagle delivered a great call on the way into the break. “Nowell squeezes through… OH NO-LOOK! THAT WAS SPECIAL! NAE’QWAN TOMLIN, HAMMERS IT HOME! NOWELL WITH THE BLIND DISH, FOR THE JAM!” Eagle exclaimed, via our Awful Announcing.

Kansas State took a three-point lead into the half after the incredible alley-oop. The dunk created a ton of buzz on social media after it went down.

Josh Taylor loved what he saw.

“This is beautiful,” one fan remarked.

“Ian Eagle is the GOAT,” a fan said. Hard to disagree!

“This is a fun one to watch,” noted Brittany Cooper.

“GOOD LORD ALMIGHTY!” PewterReport exclaimed.

Kentucky and Kansas State are expected to really battle it out in the second half. A win and either team would be on to the Sweet 16 in the East Regional. Meaning that their next NCAA Tournament game would be at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City.
