The Ohio State Buckeyes have shocked America and the Big Ten Conference this March. They picked up their third victory in a row on Friday in the 2023 Big Ten Tournament as the Buckeyes upset Michigan State.

In doing so, they became the lowest-seeded team in Big Ten Tourney history to advance to the tournament’s semifinal round.

The shocking victory comes on the heels of a disappointing season in Columbus. Ohio State went 13-18 in the regular season. They sported a dismal 5-15 record in Big Ten play, which included separate losing streaks of five and nine games. This all came after the team started 10-3 and 2-0 in Big Ten play.

Now though, the Buckeyes are still in it to win it. If they can pull off a stunner and beat top-seeded Purdue on Saturday, they will advance to the tournament final on Sunday. Then, for Ohio State, it’s win and you’re in. A victory would clinch a berth in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

“THE OHIO STATE BASKETBALL TEAM IS MOVING ON!” the OSU hoops account tweeted in excitement.

Jake Marsh wondered if we were seeing a bid-stealer in front of our eyes.

Jon Rothstein tweeted, “Things you didn’t think you’d tweet: Ohio State is two wins away from the NCAA Tournament.”

The Sickos Committee made a hilarious side-by-side post of Ohio State mascot Brutus.
