Some disturbing news emerged earlier this week about former Syracuse Orange and NBA forward Donté Greene.

According to Mike Waters of Syracuse.com, Greene was arrested last week at a gas station in Goshen, Indiana for an alleged robbery.

The store clerk detailed the incident in the police report, saying that Greene told him to “give him all the money’’ before lunging at the cashier.

The clerk attempted to call the police, but Green reportedly stopped him from doing so, with workers at a nearby Taco Bell calling 911 during the incident.

Greene could face up to 1-6 years in prison for the incident if convicted, and it appears that video footage at the gas station backs up the store clerk’s claims.

According to the South Bend Tribune, video footage of the incident allegedly shows Greene talking with the clerk and walking around the store before taking his shirt off. He then began lunging at the cashier who continually backed away behind the counter.

Greene is known for his lone year at Syracuse in the 2007-08 season, where he averaged 17.7 points per game along with 7.2 rebounds.

He was then selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 28th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Greene’s career didn’t amount to much at the NBA level, only playing four seasons with the Kings before being out of the league ntirely following the 2011-12 season.
