Just a few months ago, the Ohio State Buckeyes got some pretty dreadful recruiting news when five-star quarterback commit Dylan Raiola, who was the No. 1 overall quarterback in the 2024 high school recruiting class, decided to decommit from Ohio State. But now it looks like the Buckeyes have his replacement.

On Saturday night, four-star quarterback Air Noland out of Langston Hughes High School in Georgia announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes.

“THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY,” Air Noland said in a tweet declaring his commitment to the Buckeyes.

Noland just completed one of the most dominant junior seasons of any quarterback prospect in the country. Playing at the second-highest level of Georiga high school football, he led his team to a perfect 15-0 record and a state title while completing 73.1 percent of his passes for 4,095 yards, 55 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

It’s an absolutely massive pickup for Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the college football world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

Noland will undoubtedly hope to follow in a growing line of talented Buckeye quarterbacks as the past three Ohio State starting quarterbacks have been finalists for the Heisman Trophy and eventual first-round picks in the NFL Draft.
