Arch Manning Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning (16) warms up ahead of the Texas Longhorns’ game against the ULM Warhawks at Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Sept. 21, 2024.

With Quinn Ewers leaving college for the NFL draft, the Texas Longhorns football program is officially under the stewardship of Arch Manning. Arch had a limited role with the Longhorns in his first two seasons with the program, but he electrified fans and torched defenses both on the ground and through the air in his limited action.

Now that he’s set to be “The Guy” in Austin, Texas, it appears Manning has decided to make some serious changes to his body in preparation for the upcoming season. Manning was present at Texas’s Pro Day, even though he isn’t draft-eligible yet, and fans noticed a major change in the young talent.

In a picture from the Pro Day where Manning is seen speaking with Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead that is making the rounds on social media, it’s obvious that Manning has added some serious muscle and bulk to his frame.

Fans reacted to the photo of Mannign and Snead on social media.

“still don’t understand why he was unable to beat out Ewers who played hurt last year. Yes it was terrible him showing up and taking the spotlight from Ewers,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“The fact that non draft eligible players take part in their teammates pro days and scouts eyes could be on them rather than the current crop is both awesome and stupid at the same time. Gms could plan a tank for Arch rather than draft Quinn, and thats unfair to Quinn,” another fan added.

“The reality is setting in that we may only get one year of Arch as QB1… dude is gonna be so coveted,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how Manning does in his first full season at the helm.
