One would assume that Arch Manning would be swimming in money from Name, Image and Likeness deals.

There’s a lot of pride that comes with that last name and with that, a lot of lucrative business deals. But for Manning, that’s not the case. Well, at least not yet.

While there are certainly opportunities to be had, Manning can’t cash in on those until he becomes the starting quarterback at Texas. While he’s expected to push for the starting job this summer, Quinn Ewers will certainly have something to say about that.

That’s the current policy of the Manning family, according to Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian. Manning doesn’t have a NIL deal, Sarkisian said, per Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods.com. The current stance of Archie Manning and the rest of the family is that Arch can’t have a NIL deal until he becomes a college football starter.

That may be a tough pill to swallow for Arch when considering that On3 Sports’ NIL valuation has him at around $3.2 million. That ranks third in all of college sports, behind Bronny James, who will soon make a decision on his playing future, and LSU gymnast, Livvy Dunne.

Arch is valued ahead of Southern Cal QB Caleb Williams, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, and he’s yet to take a snap at the collegiate level.

When Arch eventually becomes a starter at this level, it remains to be seen just what type of NIL deals he’s able to sign. Though, if he’s unable to beat out Ewers, that may have to wait a bit.
