The Arizona Wildcats survived an upset attempt from the Colorado Buffaloes Saturday, winning 34-31 thanks to a game-winning field goal as time expired.

Arizona scored ten points in the fourth quarter to pull off the comeback victory.

Colorado fell to 4-6 on the season, putting their chances at making a bowl game at risk.

Colorado has now lost four straight games.

The game aired on Pac-12 Network, so it likely was lost in the shuffle of a busy college football afternoon.

Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita went 21-for-35 for 214 yards and two touchdowns, and Wildcats running back Jonah Coleman rushed for 179 yards on just 11 carries.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders went 22-for-35 for 262 yards and a pair of touchdown passes.

Fans on social media had plenty to say about the ending, and the game itself.

One fan was critical of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, saying, “A good coach could’ve taken the players that Deion Sanders pushed out and won more games with them.”

Another tweeted, “Will the Colorado Buffaloes not make a Bowl Game? Odds are likely”

The official Arizona football account posted a video of the team celebrating the win in the locker room

Another fan tweeted, “Everybody in the CFB Take Industrial Complex owes Jedd Fisch an apology”
