The Arkansas Razorbacks kicked quarterback Kade Renfro off the team on Thursday. Renfro’s dismissal from the Razorbacks football program comes on the heels of “a history of sexual assault and harassment against multiple women” for Renfro being unearthed on social media.

Richard Johnson tweeted, “Arkansas athletics announces QB Kade Renfro is no longer with the football program. A social media account alleging a history of sexual assault and harassment against multiple women began posting yesterday.”

According to Johnson, Renfro is still currently listed as a student, a university spokesperson said.

“Upon gaining knowledge of the allegations against a student-athlete earlier this week, we immediately informed the University’s Title IX office of the allegations. The student-athlete is no longer a member of the football team,” Arkansas Athletics said via Johnson.

Earlier in the afternoon, several began to notice that Renfro’s name had disappeared from the team’s official roster page.

Renfro was accused of “multiple rapes” on the campus on Instagram. A Twitter user implored anyone with information on the situation to inform the proper authorities.

Renfro was a walk-on for the team and previously attended Ole Miss.
