Several Auburn students have been suspended over leaking an alleged sex tape that featured Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter.

The video was a hot topic of conversation last week across social media when a Twitter account was created titled “Jarquez Exposed.” The report, later suspended, charged people $5 to view the tape.

The number of students involved or suspended was not known. However, the university released a statement.

“We are aware of the situation and take this matter very seriously,” Auburn said in a press release. “The appropriate offices are conducting a thorough review. Indefinite suspensions have been issued for violation of applicable Auburn Athletics department policy. No further comment will be provided at this time.”

After the suspension, Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze didn’t address the issue again.

The school is still dealing with hiring Hugh Freeze as its head coach and the baggage he brought along with him after Ole Miss fired him.

As some may recall, Freeze was the head coach at Mississippi at the team when the team was hit with a scandal involving him and some hookers. The school immediately fired him, and then he was hired by Liberty. Freeze said when he was hired that, he was a changed man.

As for Hunter, he was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, which may explain why Freeze hasn’t come out with a statement since he is no longer on the team.
