Deion Sanders made a huge splash when the Colorado Buffaloes decided to hire him as their head coach after he spent two years with Jackson State.

But one college football insider thinks that Sanders may be out at CU by the end of the 2024 season.

Bruce Feldman went on the “Rich Eisen Show” and predicted that he could see Sanders leaving either because he’ll be very successful or he’ll fall flat on his face.

“Two years from now? After the 2024 season? I would not be surprised if Deion Sanders is not the head coach at Colorado,” Feldman said. “I just don’t think that he is going to be there that long.”

Sanders had pretty much convinced the college football world and especially fans of Jackson State, that he had every intention of staying at the school for the long haul and clearly, that didn’t happen.

Feldman feels like Sanders’s success could go either way.

“It’ll either go really well. They were horrible before,” Feldman continued. “So he goes from one win last year to maybe four or five this year. And then maybe eight or nine. Then I think he goes to a bigger school.”

“Or it will not work out at all and they will all be at odds. I think there’s a lot of stuff that has the potential to create a lot of friction. If it doesn’t go great, then I think they go in a different direction,” he added.

If Sanders’s recent history is any indication, Feldman may not be wrong.
