The Vanderbilt Commodores who just ended their 17-game SEC losing streak last week against the Kentucky Wildcats just handed another SEC East foe a loss. This time it’s the Florida Gators.

The Dores shut the door on the Gators, 31-24.  The Dores’ offense was on point early on against the Gators but had to hold on for dear life as Florida, led by quarterback Anthony Richardson who threw for almost 400 yards, made a furious comeback in the fourth quarter.

An upset win over Tennessee could send Vanderbilt to a bowl game this season but of course, that’s a big IF. It will take a lot for them to upset the Vols.

As for Florida, they go to 6-5 and a loss next week to rival Florida State may keep them home from a bowl game. The Gators who started off the season on a great foot by upsetting Utah have basically fallen flat the rest of the way and now this embarrassing loss to Vandy.

Fans across the college football landscape had plenty to say about the Gators being upset by Vandy and let’s just say most of the comments weren’t positive.

Of course, fans are going to take a swipe at Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M but as you can tell, Gator fans are not happy with how things have gone Saturday.
