Here we go again, talking about the future of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.

Despite his many denials about his future, one Colorado beat writer is starting to fall in line with the belief that Sanders is out of Boulder after this year.

Emanuel Walker, who covers the Buffs for Sports Illustrated, is skeptical about whether or not Sanders will remain with the program after this upcoming season.

Walker agrees with ESPN’s Paul Finebaum who said last week he believes that Sanders would take the USC Trojans job in a heartbeat if it was offered to him.

“Could it be that Paul Finebaum sees something that many of the Buffs fans have yet to realize? Coach Prime doesn’t like to lose, his sons will be gone, and doesn’t believe in rebuilding a football program with younger players outside of the transfer portal,” Walker prefaced before saying, “And if Colorado has another losing season, will the Buffaloes faithful begin to grow tired of all the hype without the wins to go along with the slick catchphrases? Is anyone starting to become a ‘non-believer’ with what’s going on in Boulder?

“Did Finebaum use Riley to make his take on Sanders based on the infinite love they both have to recruit players out of the transfer portal? Watching more athletes leave their programs as a means to say that Colorado needs to prepare for life A.P. (After Prime).”

Many pundits have always thought that the Colorado job was just a stepping stone for Sanders, just like the Jackson State job was. He also said he was happy where he was and had no intention of leaving there either, before leaving for Boulder soon after.
