The Michigan Wolverines football program has seen its fair share of controversies as of late, from a sign-stealing scandal under head coach Jim Harbaugh to his replacement, Sherrone Moore, having what the university deemed to be an “inappropriate relationship” with a staffer.
After the scandal involving Moore, Michigan conducted its own investigation into its athletic department and the culture that has allowed disrepute to be associated with its program. However, reporter David Jesse broke the news on Tuesday that the investigation’s findings were recounted to its regents orally, which would mean there is no written record of what was found.
Jesse’s reporting means that the university is protected from the investigation’s findings being found via a FOIA request. Coupled with this news is former Harbaugh assistant Chris Partridge suing the Univeristy after being fired during its sign-stealing scandal.
In the wake of the news, Outkick’s Dan Dakich had some pointed words for Michigan’s football program.
“The latest allegation for the most corrupt college sports program in the history of NCAA or college football is from former Michigan assistant Chris Partridge,” Dakich said.
Michigan Football is the single most corrupt college football program in the history of the sport!!

“And it is astounding to me that this allegation came out. He is saying that the findings from the sign-stealing report were not to be sent to the NCAA or any other party, and that is from the president, Santa Ono. Oh, no. It’s the latest.
“Jim Harbaugh is the biggest coward in the history of coaching. Now, whatever you think about that statement, good for you. But let me explain. He had to cheat. Urban Meyer went 7-0 against him.”
As much as it might pain Dakich, the truth of the matter is that Harbaugh led the Wolverines to the national championship in his last season with the program, and in 100 years from now, that’s all anyone will remember.
