We’ve heard some wild allegations about the Colorado Buffaloes football team this offseason but this one has to be the wildest.
According to some former Buffs players, they were forced to attend a Lil Wayne concert.
A report from Athlon Sports claims that several players said head coach Deion Sanders forcing them to attend that concert was the last straw for them before they hit the portal.
“The Wayne concert was the final straw for a few players who hit the transfer portal,” a source told Steve Corder Athlon Sports. “When Coach Prime told us we all had to be there to support Shedeur as a rapper, they were not happy at all. To be honest, it was nothing but a huge distraction and Daddy Ball was being played.”
Buff QB Shedur Sanders was set to perform at the concert that night and that’s why many players believe they were forced to go, a claim Deion Sanders Jr. denied.
“Bro this is hilarious,” he said. “They basically said he forcing people to listen to his son’s mixtapes.”
Since a report came out in The Athletic about the way Sanders treated his former and current players, accusations have been flying left and right about his favoritism towards his sons but this latest one takes the cake.
