Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has taken the college football world by storm in Boulder. Coach Prime, along with his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, and the mighty Buffaloes, enter this weekend’s matchup against Oregon with a 3-0 record. Last week, the Buffaloes pulled off a come-from-behind win over rival Colorado State in a thrilling overtime showdown.

With all the hype surrounding the program, there’s also hype surrounding Deion’s sons as prospects. Both Shilo (23) and Shedeur (21) would be eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft, and many in the NFL Draft community believe that the younger of the two could be among the top quarterbacks selected this April.

In fact, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. recently moved Shedeur up to the No. 3 QB in the 2024 NFL Draft. Sanders checks in behind the likes of Caleb Williams (Southern Cal) and Drake Maye (North Carolina).

So what does that mean for Shilo and Shedeur? Not much exactly, apparently, as Deion seemingly has no interest in letting either of his sons, who followed him from Jackson State, enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

In a video posted to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, the Colorado head coach talked about overhearing a conversation in which Shilo told Shedeur he’d be in the NFL next year. The family was in a box at the Denver Broncos-Washington Commanders game Sunday.

“I said, ‘No, he ain’t,'” Deion said.

Shilo tried to explain to his father that he meant “we” and that both of them would be in the NFL in 2024, but Deion wasn’t having that either.

“What you trying to say?” Deion asked. “That y’all ain’t going anywhere?’

Those in the college football world were quick to react:
