The Georgia Bulldogs are attempting to win their second national championship in as many years against the TCU Horned Frogs on Monday. The Bulldogs are typically known for the crushing defense leading the way, but early on their offense has been the star of the show.

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett has been electric through one half of football, throwing for 213 yards and two touchdowns, and has obviously overmatched TCU’s defense.

He also showed off some underrated mobility early on, rushing for two more touchdowns in the half on some pretty poor defensive breakdowns from TCU.

Georgia running back Kendall Minton also joined the scoring frenzy with a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

It was been a completely one-sided beatdown for Georgia over TCU, with the Bulldogs leading 38-7 at halftime. The college football world took to social media to praise Georgia for just how excellent they played in the first half offensively.

“TCU deserved to be in the CFP. It’s a good team. This is about how good Georgia is, while unequivocally proving that committee was correct in selecting Ohio State,” tweeted Nick Sabato of the Niagara Gazette.

Georgia’s got that machine-like hum going. Kirby Smart’s on a helluva run right now. Nobody in CFB better than him at the moment,” tweeted Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic.

“Good night, everybody. And congratulations to Georgia,” tweeted Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland.

The fact that most are already saying this game is over speaks for just how great the Georgia Bulldogs looked through the first half.

It would take an unprecedented comeback from TCU quarterback Max Duggan and company to turn this game around, and it undoubtedly looks very bleak at the moment.
