The Georgia Bulldogs have cemented their status as the top team in the country heading into the College Football Playoff. No. 1 Georgia steamrolled No. 14 LSU 50-30 to win the SEC Championship Game on Saturday in Atlanta.

There were many incredible (and wacky) plays for the Bulldogs in the victory. One such play came from Georgia star defensive lineman Jalen Carter.

In the second quarter, Carter got to LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels for a sack, and lifted Daniels in the air with left arm while celebrating the play with his right arm. This is amazing:

Carter also showed his dominance as a run defender by tossing an LSU offensive lineman and tackling the running back for a loss.

It should come as no surprise that the 6’3, 300-pound defensive tackle is one of the top prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft. Dane Brugler of The Athletic tweeted on Nov. 5, “Jalen Carter will be the No. 1 player in the 2023 NFL Draft for several teams.”

Carter and Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson are the two favorites to be the first non-quarterback selected in the 2023 draft.

College football and NFL fans alike marveled at Carter’s performance on Saturday. Here’s a peek at how fans reacted on Twitter:
