After a blowout loss to the archrival Michigan Wolverines in their last game, the Ohio State Buckeyes face a College Football Playoff semifinal matchup against the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in the Peach Bowl. The Buckeyes are decidedly the underdog in the game, with Georgia currently sitting as a 6.5-point favorite in most sports books. But one Ohio State star doesn’t seem to think that should be the case.

When previewing the game in a press conference this week, Ohio State star defensive end Jack Sawyer seemed to indicate that he thinks the Buckeyes are the better team in this game on both sides of the ball.

“I think we’ve got advantages across the board on both sides of the ball,” Jack Sawyer said.

Not everyone seems to share the confidence of Jack Sawyer. Former Ohio State star Maurice Clarett has had some strong words for his former team and current head coach Ryan Day. College football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who is also an Ohio State alum, has also revealed that he thinks it’s possible that the Buckeyes get “embarrassed” against Georgia based on the way the team lost to Michigan.

We’ll find out if Ohio State is up to the task in just a few days.
