Jim Harbaugh became the subject of an absurd and hilarious story on Monday.

Pat Forde of Sports Illustrated wrote on the Michigan Wolverines and their head coach, who’s seen a lot of success over the past two seasons. Michigan has won back-to-back Big Ten titles, defeated rival Ohio State two years in a row, and clinched berths into the College Football Playoff in two consecutive years. Among the topics of discussion were the Wolverine football team and… lawn-mowing.

“Mowing the lawn is one of the great feelings I have in life,” Harbaugh told Forde, who tweeted the absurd quote. “Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh ranks among the richest Americans who mow their own lawns. And he wants to know why the youth of America isn’t out there with him cutting the grass,” Forde tweeted.

The quote is so Jim Harbaugh that it hurts.

The CFB world reacted to the absurdly hilarious quote from the Michigan head coach.

“I think being the richest man in America who still mows his own yard is my new life goal,” one user tweeted.

One user laughed and said, “He’s such a weirdo man.”

“This is the only thing I have in common with Jim Harbaugh. Except the rich part. Just love cutting the grass,” another user said.

“Jim Harbaugh is basically Hank Hill as a football coach,” another user said.

The reactions continued.
