The Texas A&M Aggies suffered their 5th straight loss this time to the Florida Gators, 41-24. The Aggies dropped to 3-6 on the season and are on the verge of not making a bowl game this year
As many may recall, the Aggies started the season ranked No. 6 in the country, but now with another loss, some are wondering about the future of Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher.
Although Fisher has a huge buyout in his contract, that may not matter to Aggie officials right now. They have proven in the past that they have the money to buy him out if they wanted to.
How bad is it for the Aggies under Fisher? they are 2-8 in their last 10 games against FBS opponents. Five of those losses came to unranked FBS opponents including Saturday against Florida.
The growing impatience among Aggie fans is apparent, especially considering that some even pick the Aggies to make the College Football Playoff this year.
The College football world had lots to say about the fall of the Aggies and whether Jimbo Fisher.
Jimbo Fisher has 5 conference losses through 6 SEC games this season. Nick Saban has 5 conference losses over the last 7 seasons.

Texas A&M needs to beat Auburn, UMass and LSU to get bowl eligible in Year 5 under Jimbo Fisher. What a mess.

With A&M getting thumped at home to UF today, Jimbo Fisher is now 2-8 in Texas A&M's last 10 games against FBS competition. Even worse, the Aggies, preseason No. 6, have lost their last five games against unranked FBS opponents. Oof.

From the looks of it, a lot of college football experts aren’t that confident that Fisher can win enough games to get bowl eligible this season, which could spell the end of the Jimbo Fisher era in College Station.
